1. What’s your favorite song about growing up?

   Garbage – When I Grow Up

   Nicht etwa nur deswegen, weil der Titel nahe liegt, sondern weil mir der Song tatsächlich eine Menge bedeutet. Und zwar seit Jahren.

2. What’s your favorite song about cars or driving?

   Audioslave – I Am The Highway

   Ursprünglich standen an dieser Stelle Tracy Chapman – Fast Car und Bruce Springsteen – Thunder Road, aber derzeit gefällt mir Audioslave noch um einen Tick besser. Erwähnt werden müssen aber alle, die einen Stockerlplatz haben.

3. What’s your favorite song whose title is a person’s name?

   Eric Clapton – Layla

   Hier gäbe es auch noch Apoptygma Berzerk – Kathy’s Song und Plain White T’s – Hey There Delilah. Aber ich denke mal, dass der Titel ausschließlich den Namen beinhalten darf und nix anderes. Daher eben Layla. Eric Clapton ist sowieso ein ganz Großer.

4. What’s your favorite get-up-and-dance song?

   And One – Movie Star

   Dum… du dum… du du du du dum… du du du du du du du dum… ;) Ja, ich weiß… ist prinzipiell eine Cover Version, aber von And One interpretiert einfach nur herrlich zum Tanzen. Ein Ohrwurm eben. Alternativ: Nikitaman – Nur ein Lied. Und dann noch Santana – Maria Maria.
